So...you say I have been tagged.

Here they are. The answers only.
Lee and Augustus
4 months
Farnsworth sibs (Except September when we saw the Davis sibs because their mother died.)
Four incredible children and 4 perfect grandchildren
2 dogs. Ping and Toto.
We went to BYU together for one semester before Charlie's mission and then after he got back.
We flew from SLC airport to the east coast a kabillion times while Andy was living in Virginia. Now we fly from Philadelphia back to SLC to see family. Last week we flew to Los Angeles to see Chelsea.
I only cook when we have company coming. Charlie cooks on Sunday and I clean it up. The rest of the time we fix our own meals. Let me explain. Charlie's job involves countless dinner meetings with his hospital board and recruiting of doctors, always over a meal. The last thing he needs when he gets home is another meal.
More social!? He is the politician.
Neither one of us are neat freaks. We have a healthy balance. He makes messes and I clean them up.
Stubborn? Stubborn? You want to know if I am stubborn? I am a Farnsworth!! Of course I am stubborn.
Charlie wakes up earlier....ALWAYS. I don't have children at home anymore, I am not working anymore. Why should I get out of bed? I lounge in bed every morning and watch "Good Morning America" until 9:00. Life is great.
Our first date was August 27, 1971. Charlie was assistant scoutmaster in his ward in Provo. They were having a 'leaders only' social with spouses. His parents (both serving in the mutual at that time) encouraged him to get a date for it. He had been home from Viet Nam since December and wasn't doing much. They wanted him to get out more. I had met him through my best friend (his sister) and the 3 of us had played boardgames over the summer in their basement. He was always filthy dirty from working construction all day but he sure cleaned up real good and smelled a lot better. We made the obligatory showing at the social and then went downtown Provo to see Charleton Heston in "Omega Man." The next night we went to Salt Lake City and saw "Bless the Beasts and the Children" with a bite to eat after at Tampicos. I guess the rest is history.
I never got flowers unless they were silk. Charlie just couldn't see spending that much money on something that would die. (Sad, because I love getting beautiful flowers.) We have been married 35 years now as of last Saturday. When he wants to let me know how special I am, he gets me flowers. Not often, but when I get them it is mega special.
I do laundry.
He is better at the computer.
We split the driving 50/50. He drives when he is not tired. I drive when he needs a nap.
We don't have to choose. We are usually eating out with a new doctor or something and the place has already been chosen. We would rather be at home. On the rare occasion that we are far from home and need to eat, we love Carrabas. If it is fast food we prefer Quiznos or Subway.
Who admits to being wrong first? We have been married so long that we are never wrong.
We have been married so long that we don't know what that means anymore. (Who wears the pants? Huh? We know what the other is thinking and what they are going to do before they do it. No problems with pants here.)
We both love sweets. We both try not to eat too many. We both fail miserably.
We don't cry very often, but when we do it is together.
Our best day together is working at home. We love working in our yard. Trips together in the truck to Lowes are a favorite. Laying a brick walkway, planting trees, installing a new carraige light, painting the garage floors, moving a fence, building a shed, laying together in the hammock, laying together in the hammock, laying together in the hammock.
We got married on a Thursday and were back to school at BYU on Monday. No time for a honeymoon. We spent our wedding night in the Holiday Inn in Provo. (We were very poor.)
Favorite date night is NOT having to go to a dinner or another party and staying home watching football on television. Yes....we are old.

I loved reading about you and Uncle Charlie and especially loved hearing that you lay in bed and watch tv till 9:00! I love that you do that and enjoy it. I look forward to that someday and I won't feel guilty, I will enjoy it like you!!! I am also looking forward to the time when Wyck and I have been married for that long and you just know each other that well.

Oh my goodness I have not enjoyed a post as much as this one in a while! I like the "no pants" situation. I loved reading about you two!
