What do old people blog about?

So I went into Philly with my hubby to the Penn State hospital. This was hanging in the foyer. I guess it is art made from everyday things.

This picture is for my daughter, Chelsea. I was chatting with her the other day. (She lives in LA.) She complained a wee bit that it had been a little hot that day. (78 degrees.) I am crying NO tears for her or Melissa Grow or Kimberly Parker or anyone else that lives south of me.

We woke up today and this was on the ground. We mused at how different it is to wake up to snow in the east as it was in Utah. In Utah it is business as usual. In Pennsylvania we all just slow down. The schools will open 2 hours late or not at all. Charlie makes a few calls to the hospital, finds out who is there, who is coming, who needs a four-wheel ride to work, who is willing to stay a little longer, etc. The nurses on duty gladly stay until someone else can come to take over. Nobody stresses. Everyone comes together to cover everyone else. Looks like I am playing in the snow today. Fabulous.

Isn't it sad that I don't know what day of the week it is until I take my pills?

I agree with Melissa. It was a little too hot today, though. 80 degrees and we had to start running the air conditioner. It's not fun to have frizzy hair in February. Enjoy playing in the snow! :)
