CASH?! Now what do we do?

Honestly.  I never knew paying cash would be so hard.  LME (Let me explain)
Monday, my hubby took his hard earned money (cash in the form of a check) down to the Newark Toyota World to buy him a brand, spankin' new 2013 Toyota Tundra. (It a guy thing.)  This took all day. I should have remembered that when we did the same thing last year for my Prius it took all day.  They just don't know how to handle cash. "You mean you won't be financing it?  But, what do I do with all these papers now?"  I'm sure there were a plethora of calls to their bank, our bank, the governor, and the president to see what you do with cash.  He came home victorious!

The check cleared on the 10th and was returned to us on the 11th.  What?  I called my bank.  The problem?  The dealership didn't endorse the check correctly.  So now we have the truck and our money.  I called the dealership.  They don't know what to do.  I suggested that I could come down and write another check.  "I'll have to talk to my boss.  Can I call you back?"  So here I am waiting for the call.  It's been an hour.  It's raining today and I am not in a hurry to go anywhere so I don't mind.  I can go to the store later.  And I'd better not take cash.
