30th Anniversary of Huntsman Senior Games

One night a year I get to put on stage make-up (which gets harder every year because of all the wrinkles) and wrap myself in a flag and prance around on a football field and be a part of Diamond Talent's Opening Ceremonies extravaganza.  It gets better every year as I meet more friends that I only see once a year!  Life is good.
Not even going to try to put them in order.  (The one thing I don't like about blogspot.)
All done and successfual again Melinda. (This should be the last picture.)
2 -All ready to go and excited!
Monday night dress rehearsal. (First picture.)

4 -Karen Heath (from Norfolk, VA circa 1967) sings in the Heritage Choir which performed the Star SPangled Banner and Climb Every Mountain.
3 -Last minute changes for the flags. (But good changes because it just got a whole lot easier to remember where we should be, when, and what choreography we do.)
6 -Lining up for the parade of athletes!! (And some of them are well over 70 and on up!  Some came in with their canes, with a helper, in wheelchairs, and even scooters. One of the events is "Bridge.")
7 -Diamond Talent getting ready to lead the parade of athletes.
5 -New best friend Ponti.  Her full name is Poinsettia.  She is from American Samoa.
10 -My vantage point as we waited on the sidelines.
9 -This guy came in afetr 2 others.  So cool!
11 -Highlight for the athletes was get a picture under the new cauldron.
