Italy is so last year.

I had planned on blogging you all to death about our Italy trip. Time is just speeding along and I have done many other cool things. I guess I am past Italy and on to better adventures. Here are the last pics of Italy.
These ruins are in Pompeii. Outrageous place in the shadow of Vesuvius. We saw street after street of empty houses, frescoes still on the walls, fast food places, houses of ill repute, castings of the people in their tracks, theater, stadium....this place just went on and on. Talk about sin city!! No wonder she got wiped off the map.



While we were in Vatican city we climbed to the top of the dome designed by Michaelangelo on the top of St. Peter's basilica. Pretty awesome view.

Now I know I will return to Rome.
