Best health care...and FREE

Next time I need a doctor I will find a PGA event. Charlie and I went to the AT&T National golf tournament yesterday to see if we could get a peek of Tiger Woods. While we were walking up the side of the road on the grass to get to the entrance.....I stepped in a hidden hole and cut off the top of my toe. (Superficial but there WAS blood. Blood always makes a wound more exciting.) We were beside the television trailers. A guard had me come right in to the law enforcement trailer. They called for a doctor. Charlie and I were then golf carted over to the first aid station just yards away from the 18th green! Two doctors looked at me, 2 nurses treated me and gave me a tetanus shot, and I signed 4 papers. (Allowing them to treat me, the official hippa release forms, and one for the PGA to absolve them of any responsibility.) All this was free to me with expenses being picked up by the PGA.

When I was all patched up, we walked out the trailer, over to the 18th green, and watched the golfers finishing their rounds. There was Tiger Woods!! 15 feet away, looking rather glum because he was 3 over par for the round. (We clapped our sympathy along with the others.)

There were absolutely no cameras or cell phones allowed on the grounds so we couldn't get any pictures. We took this one when we got home.

Man, I thought this post was going to be a plug for Obama-care...glad it wasn't! :) You sacrificed for your hubby to get that close to Tiger. Very impressive.

You should cut off your toe more often - but maybe that's why Tiger didn't dance with you. :-)
