Andy is in DC right now training for his soon deployment. He came up last weekend for a visit. He brought a CD of all the pictures he had taken when we were in Italy visiting him. All of these are of Pompeii. It was so much fun to see them and remember the super trip.
So cool to be IN a house and actually see the frescoes still on the walls!
We walked and walked and walked! Pompeii is HUGE! And they say that 2/3 of it is still unexcavated.
I forget who this guy is. Wasn't it Apollo or something?
See Vesuvius in the background? It is like major far away. That had to have been some super explosion!!!
