The very first thing I did this morning; before saying my prayers, before eating breakfast, before even going to the bathroom; was to shampoo my carpet. We had a rather wicked, cold windy evening last night. It was SOOO windy that it was blowing the double dog door open. Well, I couldn't have that, so I closed up the dog door. (And then forgot what I had done.) We went to bed as usual after turning off the lights and locking the dogs downstairs by the closed dog door. Can you guess what happened next? We didn't until 5:00 this morning when we heard Ping whining. I was upset at him for whining and waking us up. Then I had to get upset at myself for not remembering to open up the dog door. Like I said....I shamPOOed my carpet this morning.
