Braggin' Nana and a two-fer

Zoe was standing by her mom after church in the foyer. The women were talking the usual stuff; kids, school, homework, show-and-tell, etc. One mother was telling the others about how hard it was to find a "Q" thing for show and tell. (She obviously has a kindergartener.) The others agreed that it was very hard to find a "Q" thing. "There should be more things that start with 'Q' ," says one mother. "Yeah," says Zoe. "Like quesadilla." Isn't she smart? She must have picked that one up in her reading, which she does very well. The school sends little books home with all the first graders because they are to read 10 minutes a night to their parent. Stephanie tells me that she zips through the book in all of 30 seconds so.....Stephanie is now counting their scripture reading in her 10 minutes. The real scriptures, not the scripture reader for kids. Twofer!

Uh, yeah. We could all see that coming when Zoe was a toddler. Have fun keeping ahead of her Steph! :)
