So we finished up the brick and removed the post. Lovin' the new AC! None too soon as you can see. The outside temp was actually just 98 degrees. (This thermometer is in the sun.) With humidity, the heat index WAS 110!!
We mowed the lawn Friday night so we could spend a nice quiet Saturday in the yard. Everyone in our neighborhood has an acre lot so there was still lots of mowing going on. I remember hearing a lawn mower going on somewhere from sun up until sun down.
We made plenty of noise ourselves! Charlie has his nifty power washer that he uses on our house. (It gets moldy from all the rain we get.) It also comes in handy washing cars.
The Bishop was in the area and had told Charlie he could borrow this trencher. Charlie has been wanting to get electricity out to Narnia ever since he put in the cialis porch.
The trencher did it's job and we will soon have light in Narnia!
Had the camera so had to take a picture of the nest in my butterfly bush.
