America's Birthday Party

So we are veteran Utah fireworks people.  All you need is an open, flat place and the fireworks dance on the ground.

The first beautiful, sparkly, ground-level firework was sparkly near the ground until the end when it shot 5 fireballs up into our trees!!!

Go to Plan B.  Get away from the trees.

I think this will be much safer. This is the last shot of Miles because he hated the noise and squealing so opted to head indoors.

All the fireworks spent, including the missile ones that blew beautifully over the house in a burst of red glare, and gold pops, and blue sparkles.  Wow.  You can't get these in Utah.  I was picking up debris all morning in the front yard!  So fun.  All that was left were the sparklers.

Miles came out after all was quiet with his 15th popcicle.  And yes, he dressed himself.  Good job, Miles!
