...but it's orange!

We  live in Lincoln University.  Not really.  That is the name of the post office that delivers our mail.  We actually live in East Nottingham Township, but if you addressed a letter to that place, they would return it. (Pennsylvania.  Go figure.)  There is an actual Lincoln Univeristy with students and everything!  A couple of the big wigs at the University sit on Charlie's hospital board, so....long story short...the new stadium is open this year and we ended up with season passes, assigned reserved parking, VIP seating, and free tailgating in the reserved parking.  It's not BYU, but it IS football.    Saturday was the first home game in the brand new stadium.  Everyone was so excited!!  Wear the colors!  But they are orange!!!  I chose the blue complimentary color which turned out to be the color of the opposing team, Cheyney University.  Okay, okay, I will go buy me an orange sweater or something.  There are still 5 more home games left.

Did I mention that Lincoln University is a predominanatly black college?  Yea, we stuck out pretty bad.
The half-time show was more than awesome!!  The band marched AND danced.
Our house is to the left just over those trees in the background.  We have been listening to the band practice for the last week and it has been amazing.  See the baseball diamond in the back?  I will be going to all those games in the spring.  We have a boy in our ward from Salt Lake that is attending Lincoln University on a baseball scholarship.  He is barely 18 and will attend one year and then be off on his mission.  If you are wondering....not black, but Phillipino.  It's pretty exciting to be involved in sports at a University again, even if I have to wear orange.
