And then...

Following Thanksgiving and floor laying, Charlie and I headed up to Maryland to check into a hotel by our old Bayview Ward.  Ellen Wheeler (one of my Laurels who is going to BYU and is engaged) was having a bridal shower at her sister's, Elisa. I let Charlie fend for himself at the hotel and took the car to the shower.  So fun to see the old gang again.  We didn't have to 'catch up' because we are all caught up on facebook already!  Lots of hugs and laughing.  Didn't anyone take even one picture?
Saturday we headed up to Lock Haven by way of Lincoln University and Intercourse, PA.
Biggest holly tree I've ever seen!

Zook's fabric.  I loved going in there. Amish run.
Bought a little comething for Guelda Gates for picking up my mail and papers.

Had luch at Miller's Smorgasbord in Lancaster and then headed to Lock Haven.  Had to stop at Uncle Joe's and pick up a few lace doiles for my antique cabinet.

On Sunday we went to church in the branch.  That afternoon Charlie gave a speech at the Senior Circle Christmas party and did his 'tear up a newspaper and restore it' trick.

The next day was Monday so we had to stop at the hospital so Charlie could print my boarding passes and gear up for Monday.

On the way to the State College airport we passed the Penn State football stadium; the house that Joe Paterno built.
