Just a little Thanksgiving

The plan was to fly out to Pennsylvania on Tuesday.  Wednesday would be spent in Lock Haven with Charlie; buying wrapping paper and boxes for the presents I packed for the grandkids and getting the ingredients for fudge to be made Thanksgiving day.
Reality hit with the snow storm.  I ended up in a hotel room Tuesday night in Detroit, Michigan followed by a long day on Wednesday in the Detroit airport waiting for a flight out to State College, PA.  It wasn't all bad.  The tunnel between concourses played Christmas music complete with light show on the walls.

The Christmas tree was big and festive enticing me to buy more gifts in all the shops.  Boredom was not a problem as I rode the monorail back and forth.

Once I got to State College, Charlie and I drove down to Herndon, Virginia.  We got there late, but we got there.
Thursday we met Andy over at the Johnson's.  The morning was spent laying down a new floor for them.  A wonderful dinner was the break the men needed followed by a craft by Zoe.  She taught us to make our own dessert!  Chocolate turkeys!!

After dinner it was back to work.  They finished it up on Friday.  Andy went back Saturday to polish off the little areas.

Happy Thanksgiving and Christmas Johnsons!  No more white tile or carpet!!
