Sentimental Christmas present

And the recipient won't get it until February of 2015!  So, what it is.....Back in WWII, Dad flew a Corsair off the Essex Carrier in the Pacific campaign. This is a clock from a Corsair. It sat on my Dad's desk my entire life. When Dad died, I asked if I could have this for Andy. Charlie had a welder fashion a platform to hold it and had it engraved. Merry Christmas, Andy.  So where is Andy and why won't he be around for Christmas? We don't know. The Navy sent him off somewhere to help protect our country. He said he will be home after his birthday. I am so proud of him for probably volunteering again for an assignment so a father could be with his family for Christmas. Wherever he is, I pray he is safe.
