What's in a Name?

I have been indexing for quite a few years. Lately, I have been doing death certificates from Virginia. Some of the names just make me laugh and smile. Can you tell much about a person by their name? I came across an "Okie May Sprinkle" and immediately loved her! She had to have been the life of the party. I'll bet she loved flowers! She was from rural Virginia so I'll bet she helped her Dad out on their farm. Can you see her? I can't wait to meet her in the hereafter.
I began jotting down interesting names. No typos here, actual names.
Lottie Motto
Effie Jewel Silvious (Inspiration for the Hunger Games?)
Fivell and Queenabelle Howdyshell (Yes!! For real! They were the parents of the deceased.)
Cornelia Craze
Myrtle Rainboat
Lester Testerman (Come on Mom and Dad! You could have thought of something else.)
Dotsie Lavinder
Fountain Nester
Malinda Nicewonder
Hattie Nutty (At least it wasn't Buddy.)
Ruby Howdyshell Puffenbarger (I don't think I would have even dated a Puffenbarger!)

Yesterday I was doing birth certificates out of Cache County, Utah in 1909. It's always a challenge when the document is handwritten. I came across a "Coila."  I tried thinking it might be Viola with bad handwriting. I usually go to google in these cases. I first googled 'Coila.'  Turns out it is a community in Mississippi. (Oh, that was fun...mississippi....mississippi. Fun to type that.) So this Mom of the baby I was indexing was probably born in Coila.  See? You can tell a lot from a name.
