We adore our new front porch....but.....the gutter guy said he would get to us in a couple of weeks. That was a month ago. It hasn't been a problem until a few days ago when it RAINED....HARD. The five gallon bucket was filling up every 30 seconds or so!!! Charlie set this piece of gutter stuff to divert most of the water into the grass. As you can see, there was still plenty of water left to fill up the not-yet-done paving project and 2 buckets.
Might be time to call a different gutter guy.
And speaking of splashes.....we got a back one. I loved my kitchen before the backsplash was installed, but just look at it now! Woo Hoo!!
You might be wondering about the little stool in the corner of the cabinet on the floor. It is just the 4 inches I need to reach things on the top shelf.
Stephanie sure made a SPLASH when she made these Halloween costumes for these kids. They came by early Trick-or-Treating to show Nana and Hah. I got them each a mini-Lego set. They guessed it before I even gave it to them!! Next year they are getting something they could never guess.....spiders?
