Erica has decided that she loves ballet. That is fine with Brent and Carol. (No more dance competitions, bump and grind, and worry over costumes.) Erica performed Saturday night with the Cedar City Junior Ballet at the Heritage Center Theatre. The ballet was "Coppelia." Erica was in act 1 and 3. She was a 'children sweeper.' Carol took Derek on Friday night. Saturday it was Brent's turn to take Jackson. Charlie and I went on Saturday night. Jackson was pretty good. When he would ask Brent how much time was left, Brent would compare the time left with the time of the Star Wars movie. At one point I heard him tell Jackson (after Jackson asked him how much was left) that "Han Solo just died." So hilarious!
There were 2 intermissions to change scenery, etc. As I looked around the theater, the women were animated, laughing, and talking. The men had their iPhones.
Erica was beautiful and delightful to watch.
The next day was Sunday, April 10th, Dad's 95th birthday. Take a look at the program! "I Know That My Redeemer Lives." The song we sang at his funeral. No coincidence!
Melinda flew home from Oklahoma that day. While picking up her luggage, there was a picture of the Blue Angels by the baggage claim. No coincidence!! Love you, Dad.
