Labor Day! Let's labor and get rid of those trees!

Just a little reminder of the pine trees on my neighbor's property that hang over the fence and drop billions of pine needles into my rocks.  We have tried raking them up....doesn't work;  blowing them out...doesn't work; vacuuming them up...doesn't work.  The only thing that works is picking them up one at a time with your fingers! GRRRR!

Looks like Charlie is just as smart as me when it comes to safety.  His chain saw was given to Andy because "we wouldn't need it anymore."  He did have his saws-all with a tree blade.  He just had to take them down a little at a time.  Did I say there are 3 trees! When you don't have a tall enough  ladder, you improvise.

And now they are gone.  Just some major clean-up and a couple of trips to the dump.  The other neighbor (on the other side) has a chain saw so will be cutting out the trunks for us because he has a garbage tree hanging over his fence too! He wasn't home today so taking out the tree by his house should be a breeze.
