It's no Sistine Chapel!

We were fortunate to win a silent auction prize of 7 days and nights at a Marriott anywhere in the world. Our son, Andy, lives in Italy so.....

It was wonderful. (No, that's not the room. The grand lobby made up for the small room.)

Although the room was small, it did have 2 bathrooms. (Hint, hint for the American Marriotts.) It had a tub and sink in one and a shower, sink, toilet, and bidet in the other.

High tech electricity, too. You had to put your room card in a little slot upon entrance to the room to gain access to electricity. No wasting here.

The flat screen tv was nice and there were lots of channels. We got Fox and ESPN from the US; a sports channel from Germany; SKY channel from Great Britain; and of course the local flair. The Italians have their own version of Dancing With the Stars. Hilarious!!! They did a lot more talking and arguing with the judges than dancing.

They even had their own version of the Sistine Chapel painting in the lobby! Not quite the best but a real good try.
