Only 9 more years to 100

April 10, 1921
The day my dad was born. That makes 91 in man years. He says he just might make 100. We are counting on it. We had a surprise party for him on the 6th. He kinda had a clue when 45 members of his family showed up for dinner. (Yes. We all brought pot luck and he supplied the paper products that Mom had been collecting for years. Plenty and then some.) 45....That makes just about one third of the family, give or take a few.

We filled up all the chairs in the kitchen and dining room and spilled outside to the picnic table.

This sure looks different than when all the grandkids were little. Now they are all giants and taller than me. (Not hard.)

A good time was had by all. Happy Birthday Dad!
