Raelene in the lights

I have an open invitation to all my family to come visit me anytime.  When my sister, Raelene, called on Saturday and asked if she could come for a visit I said, "Duh!  YES!!"  She flew in on Monday.  The only thing I had scheduled for the whole week was Tori Bowden's graduation on Tuesday. (She was one of my Laurel presidents a few of years ago.)  She was graduating in Criminal Justice from Yorktown Technical Institute.  The ceremony would be in Manheim, PA and Lancaster is right on the way so,  we stopped at the Amish Village and did the tour thing.

Tanger outlet mall was next on the list followed by dinner at Applebees.
Then it was off to Manheim.  Only 130 some graduates so not too bad or long.
Wednesday we spent sleeping in, talking, weeding, talking, sitting in Narnia, and talking.
That eve we went to Longwood Gardens with Charlie.  There is an exhibit there right now with lights.  We got there early enough to walk through the gardens before it got dark.  When it did, all the lights came on and it was totally more gorgeous than these pictures came out.

There is a display there of giant lilypads.  I have only been there in the day when the daylilies are in bloom.  It was fun to see the ones that only bloom at night.

Thursday was DSW, Boscov's, The Christiana Mall, and Cheesecake Factory!
When we got home  I dragged out a puzzle and we talked and talked while putting it together.
Sisters never have enough time to talk!
Friday was a day to recoup from shopping so we put together another puzzle and talked and talked.  A couple of movies and the week was about over.  She left today for home.  The week went by way too fast!
The invitation is still open to anyone in the family!  But especially sisters!  (And Brad, if Debbie comes, you can come with her.)

How fun! Someday I will be old enough and to take trips by myself to visit sisters...right now I still have to pack too many suitcases with too many tag-a-longs.
