Why am I so happy!?!

It's just a walmart, after all.  Let me start at the beginning.  We live rural.  Amish, horses, farms, etc.  I like shopping at walmart.  The nearest ones are all 20-30 minutes away.  There are plenty of them; Parksburg (30 min), Exton (45), Kennett (20) but it's a mini one, North East, Maryland (30) and the best one Elkton, MD (40).  The prices are great and they have what I need.
When we first moved here in 2007, there was a sign on the road in Oxford (5 minutes away) that said "Coming Soon!  Walmart"  I inquired around and everyone laughed.  The sign had been there since 2003.  Every so often there would be an article in the paper about the walmart and if it would ever come.  Someone, somewhere was still working on it.  I would get my hopes up only to have them dashed because of turtles, or highway access, or landowners blocking construction, or other roadblocks.  It became a joke.  I went with, "I'll believe it when I see it."
Last summer, the road crews were starting to improve the road in that area.  "I'll believe it when I see it."
Road graders began clearing the brush and leveling ground. "I'll believe it when I see it."
McDonalds, Sleepys, and Verizon all put up little stores near the place. "I'll believe it when I see it."
The rumor was it would be open August 24th because they are starting to hire people.  "I am beginning to believe!"
My paper came yesterday and said it had opened on the 15th!!  "I believe!!"

Do you know what this means?  I can actually get needles, thread, fleece, bug killer, ink cartridges, watch batteries, greeting cards, toilet paper, shampoo, etc....and groceries because it's a Super-Walmart!!  I know.  I shouldn't be this happy....but I am!!  It's MY Walmart!!  Only 5 minutes away!!!!!
It was wonderful.  Everything so new.  The cart didn't squeak or stick; the floors were so clean; the employees wore new uniforms;  there was so much stuff!!  And if I want to go at 4 in the morning, I can.  It's open 24/7.  I just can't wait to need something so I can go again!
