Andy would be gone for 8 weeks on deployment and Chelsea was going on tour so the house would be totally empty with no one to care for the pool, water the plants, collect the mail, or protect it from burglars. We had a free 4 weeks in July so volunteered to pick up the mail, take care of the pool, water the plants, protect it from burglars, and while we were there ... Deep clean the shelves and cupboards, unpack boxes in the garage, check out the electrical, get rid of ants and other pests trying to get in the house, demo the office space and rebuild, and while there....have some fun.

Charlie really needed a ladder to get up into the attic to handle the electrical, but Andy didn't want us to buy him one because Stephanie Renae was coming with a super ladder so....we put together one and Andy said it would be perfect! (Not) So Charlie built himself a ladder.
