What a whirlwind! Erica came down for 4 days to play with Zoe. They played legos, Mario Cars, legos, went to the Children's Museum, went swimming at Melinda's, played Mario Cars, played legos, made cookies, swam at Melinda's, etc. Having 2 little girls here is fun and exhausting!
We were driving in the car up Bluff street and Erica yells, "They have a splash pad at Arby's!!" I looked, and yes, shooting up from the ground was a fountain of water. Not a splash pad but a brokern sprinkler. We ate at McDonalds and Costa Vida. They ate a bag of popsicles, had pancakes for breakfast, and talked and giggled. I took the girls to the mall and they met an author for a book I bought them and she signed their books.
Erica went home on a Saturday, so Zoe and I had the rest of the week together. We went to a mission farewell on Sunday for Parker Holmes (from our ward in Maryland who now lives in St George.) I broke a toe on the cart at walmart and suffered a contusion on the other foot trying to close the car door with my good foot. (Don't ask.) I was a tired mess. Zoe wrapped her little arm around me and "helped" me to bed. And she took good care of Gadget while they were here.
