Time to back up

I just found all these cool e-mails I had sent to friends and family right after we moved to Pennsylvania.  I need to record them somewhere.  That somewhere is here.
First, a little history on how we got here.
October 6, 2007

Charlie flew out to Pennsylvania to check out Jennersville Hospital.  He had been offered a position as CEO.  I knew he would take the job so started my online search for a home.  I was using Zip realty and got an e-mail from a realtor with Zip.  Charlie met with her briefly before flying home to Utah.
The next weekend we were both on a plane to attend the hospital board retreat in Hershey, PA. (I think I love it already.)  On Sunday we attended what we  thought would be our church in West Chester and then drove around the neighborhoods around the hospital to get a feel for the area.  That night at the hotel I went online to see if there were any more homes newly listed as we were meeting with our realtor on Monday.  I found one that impressed me.
Monday morning began with prayer and then we met with Kimberly McKetrick.  She had a few homes to show us.  I showed her my find.  She said she would have to call the listing agent.  She then took us to a home in a nice neighborhood.  We walked into the entryway and Charlie and I looked at each other and said, "This isn't the one."  The new find was right around the corner so we headed there.  As we turned the corner I had this good feeling.  The owner was there and he took us through the house much to the dismay of Kimberly and the listing agent who came in running.  We both loved the house, the yard, and the neighborhood.  Kimberly took us to see a few more homes, we ate lunch, and then flew home.  We put money down on the feel good home later that week.  142 Hillside Circle, Lincoln University, PA.

What a month!  A whirlwind!  In a nutshell... We sold our house to the first family that looked at it.  They needed to close in 2 weeks (perfect) and have us out as soon as possible. (perfect)  We ended up moving 4 days after closing. (perfect)  The moving van people will meet us in Pennsylvania on the 15th. (perfect) We close on our new home on our anniversary. (perfect)  We will stay in a rental townhome paid for by the hospital (perfect) for 6 days to await the moving van.
The dogs did pretty well on the trip.  They stayed in their carriers in the bed of the truck.  We found 3 pet-friendly hotels so they slept with us.
FYI  We left about 4:00 pm with the moving van on Wednesday, the 7th, and drove to Laramie. (414 miles)  Next day we hoofed it to Iowa City (788 miles) after stopping in Lincoln, Nebraska for a few hours to see Terry and Julie Sherrill.  Friday we made it to Pittsburgh (742 miles).  Andy was waiting for us in Avondale, PA at the rental place when we pulled in about 2:00 in the afternoon. (Perfect)
That pretty much sums it up. Tomorrow...the e-mails.
