So now Andy owns a home in Valley Center, CA. Chelsea is thrilled he is so close to her now. With home ownership comes a LOT of work....so Charlie drove his jeep down to him and stayed for a week to help with the work aka putting in a chain link fence.
Well, I really didn't want to stay here alone so I headed up to Provo. I left my world in St. George and drove north. As I drove into Utah Valley I was taken by the absolute beauty of the snow capped mountains and the spring flowers. I remember this. I graduated from high school here. I met my husband here. I went to BYU and graduated here. My parents lived here for forever. I drove by their house. That seemed so familiar but then, it was a world ago.
I walked down the halls of the University Mall, where Charlie and I got our engagement photos taken. It seemed...(No it didn't) not familiar because it is soooo different. Another world ago.
I met up with Michael and Chelsey Chalk (One of my cute Laurels from back east) for dinner. We caught up on everything Bayview Ward and all about the latest of her family, my family, our common friends, etc. That was another world, too.
I called Raelene to ask if I could sleep at her house that night. Dave, Raelene and I talked into the night about everything. I love family. They are my world. So glad Raelene kept Mom's piano!
I drove home Thursday to my now world. I love it, but can't wait for Charlie to get home tomorrow.
