Cruisin'
We just got back from our 9 day cruise to Bermuda, St. Maarten, Peurto Rico, and Haitti. Stories and pictures to follow in coming days. For now, I had to get down (before I forget) the top ten questions asked of our cruise director, Richard Spacey. He has been cruising for 15 years and says these are legitimate questions people actually ask.
10. Does the crew sleep onboard? (No. They commute on tiny submarines.)
9. I asked for a sea view. All I can see is a parking lot. (Before the ship got underway.)
8. Does the sea air shrink your clothes? (No. The food does that.)
7. Does the ship generate it's own electricity? (No. There is a long extension chord out the back of the ship.)
6. What can I do? I can't get into my cabin because there is a 'Do not disturb' sign on the door.
5. Is the water in the toilet fresh water or salt water? (He doesn't know. He hasn't tasted it. There are 2 reasons why he won't. #1....and #2)
4. What would happen if I flushed the toilet while sitting on it? (It would suck all your wrinkles off. fyi-the ship uses a vacuum system in their toilets.)
3. Is it seawater in the pool? Richard- Yes. Cruiser- That explains the waves.
2. What religion are the people with the patches behind their ears? (I don't know, but I hear they worship a porcelain throne.)
1. Why can't I get the microwave to work in my cabin? (Richard was curious about this one. He went to their cabin and found a cold piece of pizza in their safe.)
Google Richard Spacey on You Tube and you will see why we had such a fun cruise.
More to come.
