Things are gonna be different this year.

To start with, I found my favorite radio station of all time!  I had heard "Grandma got run over by a Reindeer" and "Frosty the Snowman" one too many times.  I found WRNB out of Philly.  This will be my go to station forever more.  Rhythm and blues all day.  I have heard some awesome Christmas songs in the R & B style.  So much good music all the time!  (And not one snowman or Grandma in the whole mix!)
I was decorating the house for Christmas and found these little napkin rings.  I had to sit down and have a moment.  Way back in Price, Utah in the 80's, Andy or Brent had to do a craft for a Cub Scout project.  This is what we came up with.  Each of the kids made two.  I know Stephanie made the 2 angels.  I am pretty sure I helped Chelsea with the reindeer.  The boys made the snowmen and Santas.  I remember throwing away half of them during a move but wanted to keep these for the memory.  They have been hidden in a deep dark place in a can for years.  I wanted to de-junk my Christmas stuff this year and found them.  I will be missing my kids this year.
Charlie and I are going to Nauvoo for Christmas.  Alone. We will be skyping the grandkids on Christmas Day to watch them open presents.  This will be so doable because they are on different sides of the country. We will skype the Virginia grandkids and then 2 hours later watch the Utah grandkids.
Chelsea will be busy in Los Angeles.  Andy will be busy and safe, we hope, in Algeria.  Maybe if we start planning now, we will all be able to get together next year for Christmas. ( In your dreams.)
I think everyone should have a Christmas three in their bedroom, don't you?
