We have lived here 6 years now. I take the 896 down to Delaware or Maryland on an almost daily basis. In the 1700s when these little towns were settled, the church was the center of town and the cemetary was by the church. As you approach Kemblesville, the church and cemetary are in a very prominent position on the highway. This has always been my favorite sign. I loved it the first time I saw it back in 2007 and I love it today. I have always said, "I need to stop and take a picture of that sign." I finally did. And yes, that sign has been there this whole time. I guess they have a breakfast once a year. Do you think Jay Leno would like it?
So I am really excited to fly to Utah today. I have been up for 2 hours and we still won't leave until 9:30. It's 8:30 now. I am trying to pass time. When we move from Pennsylvania, and we will when Charlie retires, I am going to miss the drive through the east during the summertime. I used to complain, because you couldn't see anything but trees. Now I will miss those trees.
